I missed the whole month of February but I am going to try to get back into the swing of things. This picture is very poor quality because I took it with my daughter's cell phone. Even so, I love it. We have a farmer at the end of our road who is just a bit crazy. His animals tend to roam all over the neighborhood. He feeds the wild turkeys like they're his pets and has a million stray cats everywhere. A year or two ago one of his wandering cows gave birth in his front yard and for some reason the calf decided Charlie (the farmer) was his mother. She acts like a dog, following him everywhere, sleeping in the front yard and hanging out in the road. Charlie even put a collar on her. Many times I have come around the corner to find this silly cow standing in the road. The other night, as I was coming home, I saw the town had put up a big yellow traffic sign with a cow on it! Today I figured out why... as I came up to the stop sign I saw the cow standing on the side of the road and at her side was a new calf. I had to get out and get a picture.
